Agartala, 18 Jan 2012: Representatives of Kokborok speakers from various organizations and walks of life unanimously welcomed a partnership with the Summer Institute of Linguistics (SIL) for the development of their mother tongue. Ms. Liza Guts, the regional Head of SIL said the Institute was happy to begin a partnership of technical assistance with Kokborok for the development of the language. She was addressing a language workshop held at Don Bosco Peace Centre Agartala on 17 January 2012.
